Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Janio Carvalho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Slater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Janio Carvalho!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carvalho wants to clinch.
Slater throws a nice looking combination but Carvalho bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Slater misses with a jab, cross combination.
Carvalho tries to close the distance and clinch but Slater swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Slater changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Carvalho tries to avoid it but Slater manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Carvalho to the ground. Carvalho escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Slater looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Slater wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Carvalho has him pressed against the cage.
