Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Tome (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and kawe koshhi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcos Tome has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
koshhi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
koshhi should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Tome changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. koshhi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
koshhi is looking to regain half guard here but Tome keeps moving and retains side control.

Tome wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by koshhi, who protects the arm well.
koshhi stops Tome from passing to mount.
You can see the frustration on koshhi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Tome will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Tome advances nicely into full mount.

koshhi defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Tome.
koshhi is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Tome is going oldschool here, as he tries to force koshhi to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so koshhi shrugs it off.

koshhi has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

koshhi is trying to get back to his feet but Tome has full control of the position and if anything, koshhi has just worked his way into a worse spot.

koshhi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tome. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Tome seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under koshhi's chin but koshhi turns very nicely into Tome's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by koshhi.

Tome working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. koshhi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. koshhi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
