Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Rudd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rudd has chosen Bob Marley - Get Up Stand Up as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira shoots for a takedown but Rudd saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rudd tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Oliveira was well out of range. Poor timing from Rudd.
Oliveira shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rudd sprawls well. Rudd wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Oliveira gets slowly back to his feet.
Oliveira shoots in looking for a takedown. Rudd tries to sprawl out of it but Oliveira keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rudd manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Oliveira seems to be working for a kimura but Rudd defends the submission attempt.
Oliveira is keen to just control but Rudd is a slippery customer.
Rudd pushes Oliveira off looking to stand but Oliveira dives back in and keeps control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rudd won't allow Oliveira to pass to mount.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Oliveira wants to work for an arm triangle but Rudd is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Rudd attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Rudd bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Oliveira tries to bench press Rudd off him but Rudd keeps the position.
Oliveira regains half guard.
Oliveira is breathing heavily.

Oliveira manages to get to full guard.

Rudd thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Oliveira looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Rudd is defending well.
