Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Stephens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksander Krujcek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Despite being in the dominant position, Aleksander Krujcek just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Krujcek lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Stephens changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Krujcek looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Krujcek rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stephens moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Stephens displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Krujcek throws out the jab.
Stephens scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Krujcek doesn't seem bothered though.

The fight stays on the outside here - Krujcek looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Jeremy Stephens overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Stephens postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Krujcek looks a forlorn figure.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
