The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roche throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Roche throws a hook but Johnsson blocks it.
The fighters circling - Roche throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Johnsson stuns Roche with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Roger Roche seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnsson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Roger Roche has been cut.
Johnsson blocks a jab.
Roche doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Roche lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Johnsson circles away quickly and effectively.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Johnsson stalks Roche and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Roche's face. Roche staggers backwards, shaken.
Johnsson's corner calls for a 1-2. Johnsson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Roche throws out a loose jab but Johnsson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Johnsson lands a nice hook to Roche's body. Roche takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Johnsson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Johnsson digs a good hook to Roche's body.
Johnsson scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Johnsson throws a combination. Roche tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

That has opened up Roger Roche's cut even more.
Roche might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
A nice combination there by Johnsson.
Johnsson is working the combinations to good effect here.

The cut above Roger Roche's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Johnsson rushes Roche with punches - Roche moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Roche goes down! Johnsson follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
