The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bstard shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rua as he jumps to the side.
Bstard shoots in for a takedown but Rua shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Rua swinging wildly here.
Bstard tries for a takedown but Rua sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hairy Bstard. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bstard shoots in and drives through. Rua sprawls well.
Bstard fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rua sprawls well initially but Bstard persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Rua pushes Bstard off looking to stand but Bstard dives back in and keeps control.
Rua is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Bstard drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rua looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rua looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rua!
Rua in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Bstard is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
