The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

bishop really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jones cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

bishop changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but bishop manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
bishop closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. bishop pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lance Jones.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jones, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
