The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitch throws a nice looking combination but Jones bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jones.
Fitch scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jones doesn't seem bothered though.
Fitch loads up on a big right hand but Jones slips the punch.
Fitch sizes up Jones with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Jones throws a nice looking combination but Fitch bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Fitch misses with a hook. Jones ducked under it nicely.
Jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fitch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jones.

Jones shoots in for a takedown but Fitch shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fitch throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jones on the side of the head.
Jones is rocked!

and Fitch takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Jones looks up at the clock. Bad move! Fitch lands a right hand from hell, dropping Jones. Fitch pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
