Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Leto Atreides (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Johnny Lopez was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Lopez throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lopez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lopez chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Atreides can pounce on him.
Lopez looks to throw the jab but Atreides is out of range.
Lopez drives through and clinches with Atreides against the cage.
Lopez keeps control of Atreides as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Atreides breaks from the clinch.
Atreides tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Lopez shoots for a takedown but Atreides saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lopez shoots for a double leg takedown but Atreides sprawls well. He's pushed Lopez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Atreides got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lopez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Atreides has managed to get both his arms back between Lopez's legs - danger averted.

That was a close second round but I would say that Leto Atreides will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Leto Atreides.
I think Atreides has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
