Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Goddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ratto Macfedries (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Forrest Goddell!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ratto Macfedries!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macfedries throws a series of punches but Goddell moves out of range.
Macfedries connects with a high kick.
It looks like Forrest Goddell has been cut.
Macfedries dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Goddell. That did some damage!
Goddell misses with a wild body shot.
Macfedries throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Goddell throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Macfedries throws a head kick that misses.
Macfedries slips a jab from Goddell.

Goddell throws a hook to the side of Macfedries's head but Macfedries sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The fighters circling - Goddell throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Macfedries moves out of range as Goddell strikes.
Macfedries lands a slapping body shot.
Macfedries misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Goddell avoids the head kick by Macfedries.

Macfedries throws a sloppy head kick and Goddell moves out of range easily.
Goddell misses with a shot to the body
and Macfedries counters with a head kick. That will keep Goddell thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Goddell looks to land a right hand but Macfedries moved out of range.
Goddell smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Macfedries tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Goddell looks to throw the jab but Macfedries is out of range.
Macfedries bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Macfedries throws a head kick but Goddell moves out of range.
Ratto Macfedries seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Goddell sends Macfedries crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Goddell is motioning to the referee to let Macfedries up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Macfedries is rocked!

Macfedries defending well as Goddell loads up on a big left hand.
Macfedries is still on wobbly legs! Can Goddell finish him?
Goddell misses with a looping left.
Macfedries seems to have recovered his senses.
Goddell throws a looping overhand right but Macfedries ducks down to avoid it.
Macfedries moves away from the strike by Goddell.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Macfedries lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Goddell drops Macfedries with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Macfedries! Goddell dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Forrest Goddell!
