The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stanley takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Etim looks for a takedown but Stanley sprawls well.
Etim misses with a wild combination.
Stanley throws out a powerful jab.
Etim looks to land a right hand but Stanley moved out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Etim looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Etim tries to clinch there but Stanley circles away.
Etim moves in looking to clinch but Stanley pushes him off.
Stanley avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Etim takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Etim tries to close the distance and clinch but Stanley swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Etim shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Stanley looks like he's trying to stand up.

Etim wants to pass to mount but Stanley is defending the position.
Etim is trying to control the action in half guard but Stanley is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Etim is trying to work for a kimura but Stanley is defending well.
Etim wants to free his trapped foot but Stanley is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Etim stops Stanley from getting back to his feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Etim takes one on the button.

It looks like Terry Etim has been cut.
Paul Stanley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Stanley stuffs the takedown attempt from Etim. Etim gets slowly back to his feet.
Etim looks gassed!
Etim tries to clinch there but Stanley circles away.
Etim swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Etim tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stanley paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Stanley cracks a nice hook into Etim's ribs.
Etim shoots in for a takedown but Stanley shows good takedown defense.
Paul Stanley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Terry Etim.
Stanley works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A jab from Stanley finds it's way through Etim's defenses.

Stanley drops Etim with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Etim looks back up at him and smiles so Stanley waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Etim is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Etim is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Stanley doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Etim crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Etim's bad books for that mishap!
