The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sanchez has Rotundo up against the cage in a clinch.

Sanchez swings wildly with an uppercut but Rotundo uses good head movement to avoid it.

Rotundo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sanchez's guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Sanchez looks to land a combination but Rotundo avoids it well.
Sanchez throws a hook but Rotundo avoids it easily.
Sanchez will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Rotundo circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sanchez pivots, looking for a leg kick but Rotundo is out of range and Sanchez settles back down.

Rotundo moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Rotundo fails to land the takedown.
Rotundo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sanchez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rotundo somewhat.
Fellacio Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenny Rotundo.

Rotundo goes for a takedown attempt but Sanchez pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Sanchez lands a nice shot that snaps Rotundo's head back.

Rotundo drops his hands momentarily and Sanchez takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Sanchez scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Kenny Rotundo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
