Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Julius Bonaparte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kane.

Kane shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Bonaparte is working an open guard so Kane takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

A frustrated look appears on Bonaparte's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Kane will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Bonaparte up against the cage.

Kane throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bonaparte's waist but Bonaparte gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kane off to one side.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kane takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
