Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rich Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Mackey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Franklin comes to the cage accompanied by Rich Franklin Theme. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mackey looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mackey keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mackey lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Mackey scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Mackey sizes up Franklin with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Mackey rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Franklin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mackey lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Mackey slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Franklin shoots in and bounces Mackey off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Mackey has his feet on Franklin's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
BOOM! Mackey lands a beautiful left hook that drops Franklin. Franklin tries to recover but Mackey is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Franklin lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Mackey!
