Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between ivan frago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duke Bomber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that ivan frago has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily ivan frago seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

frago scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

frago decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bomber to his feet.
Bomber fails with the takedown

and frago counters with a single leg into guard. Bomber didn't expect that.
frago advances position into side control!
Bomber can't do much from the bottom here.
A bit of a lull in the action here.

frago working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
You can see the frustration on Bomber's face as frago controls the position.

frago tries to stand but Bomber is controlling his head.

frago looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
frago is breathing heavily.
Bomber is trying to control frago's posture but frago avoids it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
frago throws a sloppy head kick and Bomber moves out of range easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
frago has his takedown stuffed

so Bomber counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
frago being controlled here, momentarily.

Bomber postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! frago is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bomber, into his guard.

Bomber is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
frago looking to sit in guard and control but Bomber gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
frago trying to keep a closed guard but Bomber is proving a slippery customer.
Bomber stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. frago swivels though and keeps the full guard.
frago is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
frago has momentary wrist control but Bomber slips an elbow through the middle.
Bomber slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Bomber postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bomber won't allow frago to sweep him here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bomber misses with a hook. frago ducked under it nicely.
Bomber looking to land some kicks to the body here.
No joy there for Bomber, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bomber will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

frago bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! frago's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Bomber decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in frago's guard.
frago is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bomber wants to pass the guard but frago is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

frago working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bomber doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bomber manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Bomber pushes down on frago's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bomber has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can frago defend it? Bomber steps over the head and cranks it - frago is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bomber!
