Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Evan Davies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sonny Yung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davies comes to the cage accompanied by You'r Not Alone. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davies showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Yung.
Davies throws a right and a left that Yung avoids nicely.
Davies throws a series of punches but Yung moves out of range.
Yung looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Davies is fending him off so far but Yung persists. Nope, Davies circles away and we're back to standing.

and Yung counters with a nice double leg into side control. Davies won't be happy with that.

Yung working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Davies is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Yung is controlling him well.

Yung is looking to take a break and control but Davies is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Davies is pushing Yung's head away, looking to escape. Yung manages to hold on to the position though.

Yung tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Yung has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Davies lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

A close round but Sonny Yung will probably get the nod.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
