The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ziggler fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lesnar sprawls well initially but Ziggler persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Ziggler is controlling the pace.
Lesnar is trying to stand back up but Ziggler is controlling him

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ziggler slows the pace down in half guard.
Lesnar is trying to escape back to his feet but Ziggler uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Lesnar can't do much from the bottom here.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
A lull in the action here as Ziggler stalls from top position.

Lesnar looks to move to half guard but instead Ziggler has passed into mount! Damn!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lesnar is trying to stand.
Ziggler takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Lesnar misses with a takedown attempt

and Ziggler counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lesnar!
Ziggler lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Lesnar is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

It looks like Brock Lesnar has been cut.

Lesnar is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Lesnar tries to lock up and control but Ziggler gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

A nice elbow there by Ziggler.
Ziggler controlling the pace for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Zig Ziggler dominated that second round.
The cut man is working on Brock Lesnar's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Lesnar has his takedown stuffed

and Ziggler counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Still in half guard, Ziggler seems content to control.
Ziggler thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Zig Ziggler overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Zig Ziggler just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Lesnar cracks Ziggler with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Ziggler takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Ziggler's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Ziggler has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Zig Ziggler is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Lesnar pushes Ziggler off looking to stand but Ziggler dives back in and keeps control.

Ziggler is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Lesnar's shoulder. That is not cool.

Zig Ziggler showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ziggler, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
