The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phillips ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wilson moves away.

Wilson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Phillips was covering up waiting for the punch and Wilson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Wilson wants to pass the guard but Phillips is keeping the position.

Wilson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Phillips swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Wilson is squirming around, avoiding Phillips's attempts to control the action.

Despite being in the dominant position, Rage Phillips just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Phillips throws a lazy right hand but Wilson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Rage Phillips is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Rage Phillips seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wilson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Phillips as he jumps to the side.

Wilson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wilson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
