PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lester Beetlejuice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lynch comes to the cage accompanied by Wild Thing. Beetlejuice is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by This Is Beetle. Lester Beetlejuice told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lynch keeps the fight on the outside.
Lynch displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Beetlejuice.
Lynch swats away the attempt to clinch by Beetlejuice.

Lynch feints and as Beetlejuice raises his hands in defense, Lynch changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lynch trying to control the position from guard on top but Beetlejuice is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lynch might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Beetlejuice is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Lynch drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lynch jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Lynch looking to sit in guard and control but Beetlejuice gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Beetlejuice wants to control from the top but Lynch keeps moving.
Lynch can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Beetlejuice controls the pace.

Beetlejuice thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Lynch bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Beetlejuice's guard.

Beetlejuice has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lynch can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lynch has gone for a leg lock! Beetlejuice slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lynch's guard.

Lynch looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Beetlejuice is defending well. Lynch quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Beetlejuice has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Lynch celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
