Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kane Razmig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ernie Whit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kane Razmig!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ernie Whit!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Reed Andrews and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Whit closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Razmig did well to prevent Whit getting side control.
Whit throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Razmig avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Whit.
Razmig works his way to full guard. Good work.
Razmig avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Razmig will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Whit keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Razmig's head.
Whit won't allow Razmig to sweep him here.
Whit trying to control the position from guard on top but Razmig is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Whit lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Razmig pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Razmig tries to clinch there but Whit circles away.

Whit sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Razmig defending well though.

Razmig keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Whit thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Razmig to regain full guard.
Razmig controls Whit momentarily but Whit frees himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Whit trying to control but Razmig is working from the bottom.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Whit darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Whit is stalling here. Razmig is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Whit seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Razmig has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Razmig wants to control but Whit is keeping him busy.
Whit manages to get back to half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Razmig stalling away here and it's allowed Whit to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Razmig wants to control from the top but Whit keeps moving.

Whit avoids the head kick by Razmig.
Razmig blocks a jab.
Razmig throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Razmig scoring well with a low kick there.
Razmig moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Razmig tests Whit's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Whit lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Razmig circles away quickly and effectively.
Whit throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Whit scores a takedown into full mount!
Whit has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Razmig regains half guard.
Whit thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Razmig's head.
Razmig regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Whit.

Whit postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Razmig avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Whit sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Razmig's guard.
Whit slips a nice elbow through Razmig's hands, connecting with Razmig's forehead.

Whit is keen to just control but Razmig is a slippery customer.
Whit thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Whit prevents Razmig from improving his position.
Whit lands with a punch from half guard.
Whit is looking to take a break and control but Razmig is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Razmig feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Whit's calf.
Razmig misses with the combination.
Razmig lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Whit circles away quickly and effectively.

Razmig throws a head kick that misses.
Whit looks to score with a jab to the body but Razmig is just out of range.
Whit misses with a straight right.

Whit swings for the body but Razmig moves out of range.
Whit tries to clinch up but Razmig circles away and keeps his distance.
Razmig pulls out of a head kick attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Whit.

Whit is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Razmig's half guard.
Whit is breathing heavily.
Razmig is trying to get back to full guard.
Whit is trying to control the action in half guard but Razmig is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Ernie Whit showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Razmig goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Razmig ducks under a wild hook from Whit.
Razmig tries a head kick but it misses.

Whit gets the takedown into side control.
Whit in side control lands a decent elbow.
Razmig trying to control but Whit flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
Razmig trying to control the action but Whit just sinks the hooks in.
Razmig takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Whit trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Razmig covering up well under a barage of strikes.

Whit lands a shot to the head.
Razmig manages to reverse the position and now he's in Whit's guard. Nice work there by Razmig.
Whit is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Whit takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Whit scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Whit takes a kick to the side of the head.

Razmig throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A nice leg kick lands there from Razmig.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Whit keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Razmig's efforts to push away.

Whit has Razmig pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Whit pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Razmig tumbling to the mat - Whit dives into Razmig's guard.
Whit working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Whit postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Whit throws a strike but Razmig rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Whit is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Razmig is controlling him.
Whit keeping moving, preventing Razmig from controlling successfully.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Whit throws an overhand right that lands on Razmig's shoulder, as Razmig tries to avoid the shot.
Good leg kick by Razmig there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Razmig throws a head kick that looked like it stung.


It looks like Ernie Whit has been cut.
Razmig lands a head kick!
Whit misses with a looping left.
Whit checks a low kick from Razmig.

Whit shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Whit was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Whit throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
A nice elbow there by Whit.
Whit looking to ground and pound but Razmig is blocking nicely.

Ernie Whit comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Whit winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
