PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gomez Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramirez comes to the cage accompanied by Megadeth-Trust. Gomez Adams told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ramirez looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Adams looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Ramirez looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Adams with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Ramirez is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Ramirez lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Ramirez winds up and cracks Adams with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Adams is looking to control Ramirez's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Adams avoid being mounted?

Ramirez works to advance to full mount. Adams defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ramirez cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Ramirez has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Adams's face.

Adams is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ramirez postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Adams bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Ramirez and the fight is over!
