Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bryn Wendowsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamal Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wendowsky comes to the cage accompanied by Quiet Dog Bite Hard. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wendowsky throws a looping overhand right but Johnson ducks down to avoid it.
Johnson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Wendowsky.
Johnson takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Bryn Wendowsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wendowsky throws a right hand that Johnson ducks under and follows up with a left that Johnson also avoids with ease.
Johnson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wendowsky defends it nicely.
Johnson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wendowsky.
Johnson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Johnson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wendowsky pulls his leg out and moves away.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Wendowsky and Johnson goes tumbling to the canvas! Wendowsky follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Johnson is rocked!

Johnson ducks right into an uppercut from Wendowsky.
Johnson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Wendowsky throws a left and a right that both miss
and Johnson counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Johnson wants to clinch.
Johnson seems to have recovered his senses.
Wendowsky rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Johnson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Oooh a lovely combination from Wendowsky sends Johnson down but not out. Wendowsky dives into side control looking to finish.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Wendowsky wants to lay and pray for a moment but Johnson keeps working.

The strikes coming from Wendowsky are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Johnson is trying to work for a kimura but Wendowsky is defending well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Nice straight punches there by Wendowsky. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Wendowsky.
Johnson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wendowsky moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Wendowsky thuds his right hand into Johnson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Wendowsky keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Wendowsky throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Johnson sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Wendowsky and Johnson goes tumbling to the canvas! Wendowsky follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Wendowsky knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Johnson on the ground.
Wendowsky takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wendowsky tries to pass the half guard into mount. Johnson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wendowsky's waist but Wendowsky gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Johnson off to one side.
Johnson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Johnson moves away from the strike by Wendowsky.
Wendowsky throws out a loose jab but Johnson uses good head movement to avoid it.

Johnson moves in looking to clinch but Wendowsky pushes him off.
Wendowsky swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Johnson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Wendowsky counters with a nice body shot.
Jamal Johnson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Johnson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Wendowsky looks to land a left hand but Johnson moved out of range nicely.
Nice uppercut lands for Wendowsky. That snapped Johnson's head back.
Wendowsky throws a jab but it's blocked by Johnson.
Johnson drops his hands momentarily. Wendowsky doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Johnson staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Johnson doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
