The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knoe on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Knoe fails with a takedown attempt.
Knoe tries to score a power double leg takedown but St Pierre sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Knoe somewhat.

Knoe closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Knoe lands in his opponent's guard.

Knoe thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
St Pierre controls Knoe momentarily but Knoe frees himself.

St Pierre pushes Knoe off and gets back to his feet.
Knoe looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? St Pierre is fending him off so far but Knoe persists. Nope, St Pierre circles away and we're back to standing.
George St Pierre has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dmitri Knoe.
