The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magnus throws a looping overhand right but SquarePants ducks down to avoid it.

SquarePants changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Magnus looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
SquarePants tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like Brutus Magnus has been cut.
SquarePants loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Magnus scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from SquarePants land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. SquarePants stands and salutes the crowd.
