Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paras Parasect (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Jorome (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jorome throws a front kick that sends Parasect stumbling back into the cage.
Jorome misses with a few strikes there.
Jorome fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Parasect avoids it really well and circles away.
Jorome throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Parasect wants to control but Jorome is keeping him busy.

Parasect creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Jorome sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Jorome tries to lock up and control but Parasect gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Parasect can't control as he wanted to and Jorome manages to get the fight back to his half guard.
Jorome is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Parasect scores with a couple of nice shots.

Jorome has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Parasect. Oh but Jorome has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Parasect goes limp - he's gone! Jorome jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
