Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Gailfus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lewis Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Franklin's choice of entrance music: Smackdown. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin tries to clinch but Gailfus is having none of it.

Franklin has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Gailfus is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Franklin.

Franklin is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Gailfus can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ryan Gailfus will probably get the nod.

Franklin will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ryan Gailfus.
