Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stanislaw Sobota (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Count Mayeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mayeda has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sobota knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mayeda on the ground.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Sobota will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Sobota dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mayeda. That did some damage!

Mayeda looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sobota is fending him off so far but Mayeda persists. Nope, Sobota circles away and we're back to standing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Sobota throws a nice looking combination but Mayeda bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mayeda chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sobota can pounce on him.

Mayeda shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sobota napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Sobota is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Mayeda is controlling him well.
Mayeda is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Sobota will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Mayeda has an Americana. Sobota didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Mayeda is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Mayeda hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
