Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Etim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Etim pinned against the cage. Etim gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A head kick misses from Etim .

Smith decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Smith seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Smith wants to pass the guard but Etim is defending well.

Smith wants to work for an arm triangle but Etim is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Etim looks like he's trying to stand up.
Smith trying to control the pace.

Smith is looking to take a break and control but Etim is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Smith works his way into full mount!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Smith is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Etim to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Etim shrugs it off.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Etim can do anything to dispel that myth.
Etim is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Smith looking to control but Etim is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Etim is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Smith thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Etim wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Smith.
Smith throwing strikes here but Etim is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Smith lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Smith with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Smith takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Etim looks gassed!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Smith throws some wild stikes that Etim manages to avoid easily.

Smith shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Etim defends it nicely.
Etim misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Smith has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Etim !
Smith misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Etim is breathing heavily.

Smith is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Etim is forced to tap! Great finish!
