Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jerome Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Blow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Blow looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Blow fails in his attempt to clinch.

Blow closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Blow has had enough of the clinch but Daniels keeps him there for the moment.
Blow is trying to drag Daniels to the mat but Daniels just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Daniels ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Daniels no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Blow drops back looking for a leg! Daniels is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Daniels manages to kick Blow off! Blow jumps back into Daniels's guard.

Daniels is looking for a triangle but Blow pushes his legs off easily.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Joe Blow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Blow shoots in and bounces Daniels off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Blow got a little sloppy there for a moment and Daniels has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Blow has managed to get both his arms back between Daniels's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Blow slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Daniels working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Blow doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Blow manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Blow is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Daniels doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Blow.

Blow thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Blow.
Daniels tries to improve position but can't.

Blow is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Daniels looks calm but he's in trouble here. Blow gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Daniels is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Blow lets go of the hold and Daniels can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Joe Blow!
