Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommie Chong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Bonny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tommie Chong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Bonny!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonny has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Chong scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Chong cracks Bonny with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Chong looks to land a combination but Bonny avoids it well.
Chong throws a nice looking combination but Bonny bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bonny shoots for a double leg takedown but Chong sprawls well. He's pushed Bonny's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Chong thuds his right hand into Bonny's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Bonny darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Chong wants to control but Bonny is keeping busy.
Chong is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Chong is trying to stand up here but Bonny is controlling him well.
Chong trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Bonny is nestled in close to Chong, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Chong is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bonny's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bonny's back!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bonny looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Chong is throwing strikes by Bonny counters by rolling into a better position. After a scramble, Bonny regains half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Chong is trying to control. Bonny wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Bonny moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Chong stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chong wants it to stay on the feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tommie Chong will probably get the nod.

Chong tries to bum rush Bonny with a series of wild strikes but Bonny uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Chong, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
