Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boris Puzikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Efrain Escudero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escudero moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Escudero stuffs the takedown attempt from Puzikov. Puzikov gets slowly back to his feet.
Escudero shoots in for a double leg but Puzikov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Puzikov gets to his feet - Escudero follows without any prompting.
Escudero dives in and grabs Puzikov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Puzikov pushes down on Escudero's head and hops out.
Boris Puzikov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Efrain Escudero.

Puzikov doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Puzikov is breathing heavily.

and Escudero counters with a nice leg kick.
Escudero shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Puzikov sprawls well. Puzikov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Escudero gets slowly back to his feet.

Escudero thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Puzikov is trying to get back to full guard.
Escudero tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Puzikov.
Puzikov is controlling Escudero's trapped leg to prevent Escudero from advancing to side control.

Escudero gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Puzikov is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Escudero tries to control but Puzikov manages to take his back.

Puzikov working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Escudero is doing well to defend. Puzikov seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Escudero is forced to tap and this one is over!
