McKillop is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Nowhere to run. Martin McKillop has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKillop wants to clinch.

McKillop looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Seaman looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Seaman manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. McKillop manages to get himself to full guard.

Seaman drops back looking for a leg! McKillop is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McKillop manages to kick Seaman off! Seaman jumps back into McKillop's guard.

McKillop wants to stand but Seaman is controlling the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Seaman gets to his feet. McKillop looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
McKillop looks for the body kick but Seaman saw that one coming.

Seaman darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Ground and pound from Seaman.

Seaman is looking for a kimura but McKillop is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Seaman to get the leverage.

Seaman is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and McKillop defends it well.
Seaman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks McKillop with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
McKillop is looking to control Seaman's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can McKillop avoid being mounted?

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Seaman wants to work for an arm triangle but McKillop is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
McKillop is looking for a sweep. Seaman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Seaman thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
McKillop wants to improve his position but Seaman is controlling well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
McKillop is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

McKillop shoots in for a double leg but Seaman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and McKillop counters with a thumping low kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McKillop is looking to slow Seaman down with leg kicks.

Seaman closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. McKillop did well to prevent Seaman getting side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

McKillop tries to kick Seaman off but Seaman keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
McKillop closes the distance looking to clinch
and Seaman counters with a one-two to the body.

Seaman fails with a takedown attempt.

and McKillop counters with a series of strikes. Seaman will be more careful next time no doubt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
McKillop rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Seaman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Seaman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McKillop connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Seaman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McKillop has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

McKillop pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Seaman throws a head kick but McKillop moves out of range.
A decent looking body kick lands there for McKillop.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Seaman misses with a takedown

and McKillop counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Seaman's guard now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Martin McKillop showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!



McKillop forces Seaman back against the ropes and clinches.
McKillop tries to circle away but Seaman has him pinned against the ropes.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Seaman pulls McKillop into guard.
Seaman wants to stand but McKillop is controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McKillop decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
McKillop misses with a double jab.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

McKillop is looking to clinch.
McKillop throws a series of strikes that have Seaman backpedaling.

Seaman shoots and misses
and McKillop counters with a nice low kick that buckles Seaman's knee momentarily.

Seaman closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
McKillop pushes Seaman off looking to stand but Seaman dives back in and keeps control.

McKillop has one foot on Seaman's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

so McKillop counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McKillop is looking to stand up but Seaman won't let him.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
McKillop goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
David Seaman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Seaman throws a combination that misses
and McKillop counters with a left and a right that stings Seaman.

and McKillop counters with a good low kick that Seaman was not able to check.
Seaman avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Martin McKillop comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think McKillop has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
