The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tobin tries to keep at a distance but Bourne has taken the fight into the clinch.
Tobin manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Bourne pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Tobin lands a body punch in the clinch.
Tobin breaks the clinch.
Bourne on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Bourne throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bourne just misses with a punch to the body.
Bourne missing with a left hand there. Tobin was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Tobin connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bourne. Bourne circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Bourne takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Bourne shoots in for a takedown but Tobin shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Tobin avoids the head kick by Bourne.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tobin. Bourne does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tobin throws out a leg kick but Bourne moves out of range and Tobin only half commits.
Tobin lands a jab to the nose.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bourne changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tobin tries to avoid it but Bourne manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tobin to the ground. Tobin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bourne looks gassed!
Tobin looks to land a left hand but Bourne moved out of range nicely.
James Tobin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tobin cracks Bourne with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Bourne shoots in but no luck this time.
James Tobin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Bourne.
Tobin lands a nice hook to Bourne's body. Bourne takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Nice jab there from Tobin.
It looks like Jason Bourne has been cut.
Bourne loses concentration momentarily and Tobin pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Bourne crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Tobin finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
