The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Pierre misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

St Pierre gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ahtisaari slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

St Pierre escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ahtisaari gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ahtisaari knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for St Pierre on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ahtisaari tries to advance to mount but St Pierre denies him.
The referee asks Ahtisaari politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Ahtisaari prefers to stall for the moment though.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Ahtisaari seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down St Pierre for as long as he can get away with.

You can see the frustration on St Pierre's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!



Ahtisaari throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. St Pierre was covering up waiting for the punch and Ahtisaari finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
