Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pena Pakkaaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and EJ Tap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pakkaaja's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I made it by Kevin Rudolf. Tap has chosen Pop Lock and Drop It as his entrance music. Pena Pakkaaja has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Tap tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tap has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Pakkaaja is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Tap asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Tap wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pakkaaja keeps working.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Tap is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pakkaaja knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Tap goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Pakkaaja has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Tap but great work by Pakkaaja.

That was a close round but I would say that Pena Pakkaaja will probably get the nod.

Tap closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tap thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Tap swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Pakkaaja is now in Tap's guard. A big mistake from Tap there, giving up the dominant position!
