The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luu throws a big shot that misses.
Meyer walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Luu throws a hook to the side of Meyer's head but Meyer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Luu tries to bum rush Meyer with a series of wild strikes but Meyer uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Leksa Luu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Luu lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Meyer circles away quickly and effectively.
Meyer avoids the body shot from Luu.
Meyer slips a straight right by Luu.
Luu misses with a straight left.
Luu stuns Meyer with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Some wild striking there from Luu.
Luu misses with a jab, cross combination.
Luu lands a nice looking body shot.
Meyer defending well as Luu loads up on a big left hand.

Luu looks to throw the jab but Meyer is out of range.

Luu throws a series of punches but Meyer avoids them all with ease.

Meyer slips a jab and a cross from Luu.
Luu throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Meyer sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Luu connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Meyer's hands.
Meyer avoids the body shot from Luu.
Luu looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Meyer shoots in and bounces Luu off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Luu is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Meyer slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Meyer stops Luu from standing up.
Luu knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Meyer on the ground.

Meyer drops back looking for a leg! Luu is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Luu manages to kick Meyer off! Meyer jumps back into Luu's guard.
Meyer is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Meyer looks gassed!
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Luu throws a series of punches but Meyer moves out of range.
Luu digs a good body shot into Meyer's ribs.
Luu throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Meyer avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Meyer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Luu sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Meyer somewhat.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Luu tests Meyer's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Luu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Luu throws a jab when Meyer was well out of range.
Leksa Luu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Luu lands a left and a right that send Meyer crashing to the mat, dazed. Luu thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Meyer is rocked!
Are you kidding me?! Luu ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Meyer clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
