Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeffe Zampietre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Slater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as John Slater enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zampietre throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slater's waist but Slater gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zampietre off to one side.
Slater tries to bum rush Zampietre with a series of wild strikes but Zampietre uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Zampietre catches Slater with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Slater swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Zampietre drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Slater manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Zampietre has Slater in his guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Slater rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zampietre moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
