The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slater drops Sampson with a beautiful combination! Sampson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Slater is looking for the KO!

It looks like Crazy Sampson has been cut.
Slater throws the kick towards the body but Sampson avoids it.

Sampson lands a big head kick that sends Slater tumbling to the mat! Sampson takes a step backwards and waves Slater back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Frank Slater has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sampson throws a sloppy head kick and Slater moves out of range easily.
Slater thuds his shin into the meat of Sampson's side.
Sampson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Slater paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Slater misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sampson wants to clinch up but Slater keeps it at a distance.

Slater trying to land knees to the body.
Sampson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Slater smiles and moves away.
Slater throws a right and a left that Sampson avoids nicely.
Slater is looking to land body kicks.
Sampson seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Slater shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Sampson is backing up but Slater catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Sampson covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Slater Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
