The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith staying out of range there.
A bone on bone clash there as Killian blocks the leg kick.
Killian uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Smith.
Smith tries to clinch up but Killian circles away and keeps his distance.
Killian misses with a body kick.
Smith throws out a loose jab but Killian uses good head movement to avoid it.
Smith throws a half hearted mid kick.
Killian rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Smith moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Killian moves into the clinch successfully.
Smith is trying to break the clinch but Killian has him pressed against the cage.
Killian lands a hook that snaps the head of Smith backwards.
A body shot lands from Killian.
Killian lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Smith.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Smith can't break the clinch.
Killian works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Killian makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
It looks like Steve Smith has been cut.
Killian lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Smith digs a right hand underneath Killian's ribcage. Killian let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Killian keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Smith's efforts to push away.

A nice right hand lands inside from Killian.
Smith tries to score a body lock takedown but Killian shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Smith tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Killian smiles and moves away.

Smith shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dace Killian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Smith.
Smith looks gassed!
Killian jabs Smith right on the nose. Smith blinks but takes it well.
That has opened up Steve Smith's cut even more.
Smith looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Killian fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Smith is out of range.
Smith tries to work over Killian's front leg with a kick but Killian checks it.
Smith takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Steve Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Killian lands with a shot to the body.
Smith drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Killian drops Smith with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Smith! Killian dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
