Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hidalgo Montoya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelly Ganon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Matheus Silva and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Ganon.
Montoya is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Montoya bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ganon's head.
Ganon looks to land a body kick but Montoya moved away.
Ganon bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Montoya fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ganon avoids the body shot from Montoya.

Ganon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Ganon pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Ganon tries to break free but Montoya pushes him back against the cage.

Montoya wants to clinch up but Ganon keeps it at a distance.

Montoya shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ganon pinned against the cage. Ganon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Ganon throws a low kick but Montoya avoids it.

Ganon is looking to break free of the clinch but Montoya has double underhooks.

Montoya keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ganon's efforts to push away.
Ganon is trying to force a seperation but Montoya has the dominant position.
Montoya lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Ganon or not.

Montoya gets control of Ganon's arms and successfully pulls guard. Montoya will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Montoya manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Montoya wants to take Ganon's back but he can't do it this time.
Ganon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Montoya. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Montoya goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Ganon turns into him and now he's in Montoya's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Montoya is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Montoya is on top in guard.
Montoya prevents Ganon from getting back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Hidalgo Montoya will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Montoya has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ganon uses from the top position.

Montoya bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ganon's guard.
Montoya stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ganon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Montoya passes Ganon's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Montoya tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ganon knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Montoya tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ganon knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Montoya seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ganon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Montoya swats away the attempt to clinch by Ganon.
Montoya uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Ganon thuds his shin into the meat of Montoya's side.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ganon doesn't manage to clinch there - Montoya circles away.
Montoya looks to land a right hand but Ganon moved out of range.

Montoya throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ganon's waist but Ganon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Montoya off to one side.

That was a close second round but I would say that Hidalgo Montoya will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Ganon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Montoya throws a looping overhand right but Ganon ducks down to avoid it.

Montoya avoids the head kick by Ganon.
Montoya throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ganon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ganon takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Ganon takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Montoya throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ganon.
Montoya lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Nice uppercut lands for Montoya. That snapped Ganon's head back.
Montoya fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ganon on the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Montoya ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Montoya no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Montoya escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ganon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ganon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Ganon has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Montoya is proving hard to escape from.

Montoya wants to control the pace but Ganon is squirming around nicely.

Ganon is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Montoya locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Ganon is forced to tap!
