The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flipovic lands with a thumping leg kick.
Flipovic throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Shears takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Shears throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Flipovic works the jab nicely.
Marko Flipovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for Flipovic, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Shears looks for the body kick but Flipovic saw that one coming.
Shears throws a leg kick
and Flipovic counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Shears throws a head kick but Flipovic moves out of range.
Shears throws a sloppy head kick and Flipovic moves out of range easily.
Flipovic circles away from the clinch attempt.
Shears will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Shears moves in looking to clinch but Flipovic pushes him off.
Flipovic avoids the head kick by Shears.
Flipovic closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Flipovic lands a left and a right that send Shears crashing to the mat, dazed. Flipovic thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Shears is rocked!
Shears looks gassed!
Flipovic throws an overhand right that has Shears reeling! Flipovic follows up with more punches and Shears is out cold! This one is all over!
