Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Noel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hittori Fidelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Fidelo.
Fidelo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Fidelo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Noel moves into the clinch.

Fidelo manages to break the clinch.

Fidelo gets caught flat footed, as Noel shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Noel throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Fidelo works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Noel passes Fidelo's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Fidelo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Noel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Fidelo pushes Noel off looking to stand but Noel dives back in and keeps control.

Noel is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Noel has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Noel is trying to control the action in half guard but Fidelo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Noel is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Noel thows a huge punch but Fidelo dodges it nicely.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Horrible takedown by Noel or perhaps it was just good defense by Fidelo which made him look bad.
A head kick misses from Fidelo.
Noel shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Fidelo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Noel stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fidelo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Fidelo tries to land a front kick but Noel steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Fidelo throws a head kick that misses.
Noel avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hittori Fidelo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Noel feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Noel is breathing heavily.
Noel postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Noel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Fidelo wants to stand up but Noel is controlling him.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Fidelo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Noel scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Noel is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fidelo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Fidelo is pushing Noel's head away, looking to escape. Noel manages to hold on to the position though.
Noel tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Noel postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Fidelo is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Noel thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Noel misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Noel is pushing down on Fidelo's leg trying to pass to half guard. Fidelo is fighting to maintain full guard but Noel has managed to sneak the leg through.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Fidelo wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Noel has an Americana. Fidelo didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Noel is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Noel hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
