Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Russian Experiment III (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khadaffi Janjalani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Experiment III comes to the cage accompanied by Come To Daddy. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Janjalani closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Janjalani fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Experiment III feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Janjalani is looking to stand up but Experiment III isn't so interested in that idea.

Janjalani pushes Experiment III off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Experiment III postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Janjalani is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Experiment III, into his guard.

Experiment III working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Janjalani doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Janjalani manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Janjalani is looking for a kimura but Experiment III is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Janjalani to get the leverage.

Experiment III is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Janjalani is defending well though. Experiment III let's go of the attempt for now.
I really don't envy Janjalani right now.

Janjalani stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Experiment III swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Janjalani keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Experiment III's head.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
