Wittman kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Brian Eno - The Big Ship. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oswald is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Wittman feints and as Oswald raises his hands in defense, Wittman changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Wittman is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Oswald keeping moving, preventing Wittman from controlling successfully.
Oswald wants to get back to his feet but Wittman is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Wittman pushing down on Oswald's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Oswald pushes Wittman off looking to stand but Wittman dives back in and keeps control.

Wittman is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Oswald still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Oswald has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Oswald decides to stand up, so the ref orders Wittman to his feet.
Wittman shoots for a double leg takedown but Oswald sprawls well. He's pushed Wittman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Mark Oswald is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wittman is trying hard to land a takedown here. Oswald sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Wittman dives in and grabs Oswald's left leg, looking for a takedown. Oswald pushes down on Wittman's head and hops out.

Oswald rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wittman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Oswald throws a head kick but Wittman moves out of range.
Oswald is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Wittman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Wittman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Wittman is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Oswald is surviving well by controlling Wittman's body position as best he can.
