Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Gille (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcel Thuram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thuram has chosen Dario G - Carneval de Paris as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Marcel Thuram enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thuram gets a takedown into half guard.
Thuram perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Thuram is looking to advance position but Gille won't allow it.
Thuram looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

That's one minute gone in the round.
I looks like Thuram might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thuram's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Despite being in the dominant position, Marcel Thuram just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Gille throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Gille rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thuram moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gille looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gille swings for the body but Thuram moves out of range.
Thuram showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gille.
Ben Gille seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gille throws a half hearted mid kick.

Thuram scores a takedown into full mount!
Gille really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Let's hope that Thuram has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Thuram unloads with some shots from mount but Gille bucks and avoids them well.

Thuram lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Gille lands a really nice looking cross but Thuram seems unphased.
Gille wants to clinch up but Thuram keeps it at a distance.
Gille throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gille throws a one two combo.
Gille misses with a jab, cross combination.
Thuram throws a nice head kick!
Gille looks to land a combination but Thuram avoids it well.
Gille tries to clinch but Thuram moves out of range.
Thuram thows a body kick. Gille tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Thuram lands with a right that hurts Gille. Gille looks to clinch but Thuram throws a short knee that drops Gille. This one is all over!
