Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Teddy Sean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinn Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson has chosen Ice Cube - It Was a Dood Day as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Teddy Sean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Quinn Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sean ducks under a wild hook from Johnson.
Sean throws a leg kick but Johnson sees it coming and moves out of range.
Johnson scores with a sloppy right hand. Sean should have avoided that one.
Sean throws a jab but it's blocked by Johnson.
Johnson dodges the punch combination from Sean.
Sean throws a leg kick that misses.
Sean will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sean tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Johnson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.


It looks like Quinn Johnson has been cut.
Sean throws an overhand right that lands on Johnson's shoulder, as Johnson tries to avoid the shot.
Johnson ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Johnson swats away the attempt to clinch by Sean.
Sean tries to clinch up.
A left lands for Johnson.
Teddy Sean is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sean misses with a jab, cross combination.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Johnson checks a leg kick.
A punch combination from Sean misses.
Teddy Sean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sean blocks a low kick nicely.

Johnson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Sean sprawling to the canvas! Sean rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Johnson finish him?!


Sean is rocked!
Johnson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Oh Sean is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sean tries to clinch but Johnson moves out of range.
Sean ducks under a wild hook from Johnson.
Sean seems to have got his legs back now.
Sean throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown. Sean tries to sprawl out of it but Johnson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sean manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A slow jab from Sean misses its intended target.
Sean is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Johnson.
Johnson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Johnson tries to bum rush Sean with a series of wild strikes but Sean uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sean throws a head kick that misses.
Sean lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sean throws a right and a left that both miss.
Johnson cracks a nice hook into Sean's ribs.
Sean is breathing heavily.
Johnson swings for the body but Sean moves out of range.

Johnson cracks Sean with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Sean looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Johnson finish him?
Johnson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sean sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Johnson pushes Sean up against the cage in a clinch.
Sean blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Johnson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sean misses with a straight left.
Johnson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Sean has time to react.
Sean falls off balance throwing a combination
and Johnson counters with a huge left! Sean is in big trouble! He's backing up but Johnson isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Sean from any more damage. A dominating finish by Johnson!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Quinn Johnson!
