The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iglesias will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Iglesias shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nice shot lands for Brown.

Iglesias changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Brown looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Brown is looking to reverse the position.
Brown manages to work his way to half guard, despite Iglesias's best efforts.
Iglesias stops Brown from getting back to his feet.
Brown moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Iglesias drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Iglesias jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Brown is looking for a sweep. Iglesias is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Iglesias is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Iglesias has control of Brown's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Brown regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Iglesias goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Brown turns into him and now he's in Iglesias's guard.

Iglesias stands up and waves to Brown to follow him.

Iglesias misses with a takedown attempt - Brown sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Iglesias is breathing heavily.
Brown stalks Iglesias and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Iglesias's face. Iglesias staggers backwards, shaken.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Iglesias dives in and grabs Brown's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brown pushes down on Iglesias's head and hops out.

Brown moves in looking to clinch but Iglesias pushes him off.
