Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nosfe Ratu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva's entrance music is Slipknot - Psychosocial. A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Ratu which made him look bad.
Ratu misses with an uppercut. Silva saw that one coming.
Ratu lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Ratu gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Silva has gone for a leg lock! Ratu slips out almost immediately though and dives into Silva's guard.

Silva is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ratu goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Felipe Silva has been cut.
Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Ratu sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Ratu scores with a hook.
Silva avoids a punch combination nicely.

Silva tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ratu sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Silva somewhat.

Ratu lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Silva is looking to close the distance but Ratu sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Silva crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Silva is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
