PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Annoited Blade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aladin Carpet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carpet comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Requiem for a Dream Remix - Clint Mansell kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blade tries to keep at a distance but Carpet has taken the fight into the clinch.
Blade takes a knee to the side of the body.
Carpet misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Blade.
Carpet is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Blade is defending well for now.
Blade jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Carpet walks away with a smile on his face. Blade gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Carpet is working to tighten is grip on Blade's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Blade has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Carpet is really squeezing tight and eventually Blade passes out! Carpet breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
