The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Familia tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tachia sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Familia somewhat.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tachia. Familia does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tachia throws a head kick that misses.
Familia scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Tachia with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Chris Familia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tachia checks a low kick from Familia.
Tachia stuns Familia with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Tachia has cracked Familia with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Tachia lands another huge swinging hook and Familia tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Familia, before Tachia can land any more shots!
